| ABOUT OUR TEAM... Gene Anderson Gene was a Licensed National Driver and Instructor in the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). After driving, Gene continued to crew various race teams (including the team that won the SCCA Showcase Series & Formula Continental National Championships in 1997). Since 1994 Gene has been the owner and president of Genoa Racing Services – a repair facility dedicated to building, restoring, and repairing race cars (from production based GTs and Sports Racers to Ralt RT41 Formula Atlantics). Gene is a specialist on Formula Continental / Ford Zetec chassis and has exceptional experience in chassis dynamics, engineering, and fabrication. He also excels in data acquisition and analysis. In addition to racing, Gene personally serviced his clientele of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Porsche 930/RSR, and Rolls Royce owners. In 2000 Gene participated with Rand Bailey in the complete restoration of the first competition AC Cobra to win an SCCA race (CSX2026, #33, driven by independent Bob Johnson, Lake Garnett, July 7, 1963). After the restoration, Gene drove this car to the Ellingson Car Museum in Rodgers, MN where it stayed for about 1 year. This car later sold for $1.3 million. Gene also worked with Rand Bailey and Bob Crawford in their Prior Lake, MN shop to paint and complete the final assembly of the famed Frankenstude that was designed by Thom Taylor and built by Greg Fleury. The Frankenstude was a continuation of the trend started by ZZ Top frontman Billy Gibbons when he had the CadZZilla designed by Larry Erickson and built by Boyd Coddington. Thom Taylor then designed the CheZoom which was also built by Coddington. In 1990, Thom Taylor drew a bullet-nose Studabaker design as a tongue-in-cheek response to Erikson's CadZZilla. After shopping the design to Boyd Coddington (who passed), Thom took the design to Greg Fleury and construction began in his Prior Lake, MN shop. In 2000 the Frankenstude was sold by its original owner for over $1 million. The Frankenstude helped launch a new wave of customs conceived as a modern take on 50’s cars. Bob Crawford With a lifetime of hot rodding under his belt, and a "Gasser" at heart, Bob combined his passion with his experience and started RTC Enterprises 15 years ago. Bob brings 30 years of fabrication, and 15 years of body work and paint experience, to a national clientele who seek out his exceptional talent for their diverse projects. Bob participated with Gene Anderson and Rand Bailey at their Prior Lake shop during the complete restoration of the AC Cobra and was instrumental in the painting and final assembly of the Frankenstude. At any given time Bob will have several projects underway in his shop. Today there was a '32 Ford Sedan that is being modified and he just started a new '32 Roadster for our client in Belize. He's also getting ready to paint a Kenny Youngblood design on Doc Halladay's nationally known "TelStar" (which will soon be running in a new Funny Car/Nitro Series). Whether your interest is in building a new high quality Street Rod, Restoration, Hot Rod, Muscle Car, Classic, or Custom, Bob can help you design and complete your dream ride. Pete & Danny Well, there's always a weak link in an organization. I could never put a model together as a kid without a bunch of left over parts. But hey! We're just the sales and marketing guys! We have already assured other customers that we will never touch a wrench during the construction of their cars. However, with over 30 years each in the corporate world, we know how to run a business and promote who we think are two of the best builders around. We're just a couple of "Pugnacious Pirates" at heart, but it is a delight to work with Gene and Bob as we bring your dream ride to reality. |
